Considering how many posts my good friends Kevin and Will have thrown up about the recent NBA regular season and playoffs, I couldn't resist this.

Lord of the Rings is the Michael Jordan to Narnia's Dominique Wilkins to the Golden Compass' Vince Carter.
I don't even know who all of those guys are, and I still cracked a smile at that, agreeing completely.

That is awesome. I haven't seen the new Narnia, but I saw the first one and I have no idea what Golden Compass is exactly, but I love the reference.
Everyone knows Jordan--probably the best player to ever play. Dominique was in the same era, just as exciting, but less team success. Vince Carter was supposed to be the next Jordan, but he has largely been a let down with a lot of hype and no real results. Does that fit?
